Private Prenatal Class

Are you busy working as well as trying to prepare for your new baby’s arrival? Maybe you have what feels like a million questions or a unique pregnancy circumstance and would like a class specifically tailored to you. My private prenatal class will help you feel more confident and prepared for your upcoming life change.

During your session you will learn: signs of labor, pain management strategies, tips for partners, when to go to your birth facility, pain control options once you are in the hospital, vaginal birth, cesarean birth, postpartum care, newborn care, and so much more.

This typically runs 4 hours long and includes email support from me until your delivery. Avoid Dr. Google and get all your questions answered from a Registered Nurse and ICEA Certified Childbirth Educator!

This package includes:

  • Private prenatal class (4 hour session)
  • Unlimited email support until your baby arrives
  • Two postpartum visits; the first in the early postpartum period, the second around 6 weeks postpartum
  • Eight weeks of email and scheduled phone support (from the time your child is born)
  • Our extensive eBooks on pregnancy, birth, feeding, and newborns
When booking, please select the date for your prenatal class. Your subsequent visits will be scheduled after your delivery.

antenatal hand expression

Private Antenatal Hand Expression Course

In-Home or Virtual

Antenatal hand expression can be useful if you are separated from your baby after birth (NICU stay), if you are having trouble breastfeeding and can help avoid supplementation with formula.

This package includes:

  • Private workshop in your own home (45-60 minutes)
  • Supplies needed to collect and store your colostrum
  • In the session you will learn the benefits of colostrum, how to hand express, and how to safely store and use your colostrum
  • An ebook on antenatal hand expression

Please note if you choose the virtual option, this will include shipping or delivery within Canada of your colostrum collecting supplies.

Sometimes all we need is a refresher on what to expect during labour and delivery. If you know most of the basics and are looking for custom support (VBACs, C-section only, What’s new in newborn care etc.); this service is for you.
